Start-up time from power on to Windows desktop is 16 seconds. The metal case is almost pristine. There is a 3cm long scratch on one side which is almost invisible. See the photo, I have greatly exaggerated it with PhotoShop to make it look awful! The front panel has a 2.5cm long scratch near the power button, again it is greatly exaggerated to make it look worse.
Neither are obvious unless you look closely with a bright light. There is a small light scuff above the Inspiron name. The system is inaudible from a distance of 250mm. BIOS & all drivers have been updated to the latest versions. New thermal paste has been applied to CPU / Heatsink (Arctic MX4).
